Y Fan (also known locally as Van Mansion) is a Grade II listed Tudor mansion house having undergone substantial restoration to a high standard since our purchase of the property in 2017. It is one of the most important mansion houses in Glamorgan with a recorded history going back to 1529.

The property is situated on the edge of Gwern y Domen ancient meadowland offering beautiful walks and is also located only a 15 minute walk from Caerphilly train station with frequent trains to Cardiff (15 minutes), and also with easy access to the A470 and the M4. It is also within very easy reach of all business parks in Caerphilly and therefore an ideal base for those travelling for work. It is set in a peaceful, quiet area with only the sound of the owls at night!
