Morbitorium

The Morbitorium is the place to be if you’re interested in the strange and unusual. It’s a fascinating blend of museum and haunted house with a witchy gift shop; you won’t find anywhere else like this!

The 19th century canal side cottage is home to our museum of witchcraft & oddities; a private collection that has taken many decades to assemble and contains bizarre artifacts from around the world such as haunted dolls, antique lobotomy tools, mummified cats and an entire wall of Ouija boards sent to the museum by people too terrified to ever use them again! A large collection of wet specimens glows softly from the corner of the room and casts an eerie light over our Annabelle doll and vampire hunting kit. In fact, there’s so much on display that it may take you a few visits before you’ve seen everything.

Our shop can supply all your witchcraft needs plus some fun gifts for you or your friends. The apothecary has a wide range of magickal herbs, and we always have spell candles, incense, and tarot cards in stock. If you’re just starting to explore witchcraft we can advise on many topics so don’t be afraid to ask, there’s no such thing as a weird question here and we can guarantee you that we’ve heard stranger

In addition to our usual regular opening hours we also host after-hours events including witchcraft workshops and séance/paranormal evenings. We work with some of the best local groups & practitioners to deliver fun workshops and experiences that will make you want to return again and again. Learn more about paganism, Wicca and witchcraft with our resident witch and high priestess Delphi Nile, or explore the museum after dark and try to communicate with the spirits that reside here. If you’re more ‘hands on’ then join us for a day of crafting (witchy themed of course!) to create your own protection bottles, poppet dolls, witches ladders and other witchcraft tools for you to take home.
